There were deposits of $2,714.00 from dues and payment for our Holiday Dinner and our November 50/50. The one disbursement of $365.00 to Franco’s for our December Holiday meeting.

Other Business

Annual Dues are now due – They are $50 and checks should be made payable to either North Jersey Corvette Club or NJCC and mailed to the PO Box. I will give the address below. All dues are due by the end of January. If you are not paid by our February meeting, we will assume that you no longer want to be a member.

Our Holiday Party is next Saturday, January 18, 2020 to be held at the Brownstone. We will again be in the Conservatory Room (which has its own entrance). We were able to keep the price the same as last year – club members will pay $60 per person (or $120 per couple). Guests will be $80 per person or $160.00 per couple. Cocktails start at 7:00PM with an open bar for the first hour, Hunter Hayes will be our entertainment again this year as well as some other surprises. There will be plenty of food, so come hungry. We will also be awarding our two (2) Holiday Raffle prizes that night as well as having a 50/50. Checks for the Holiday Party can also be made out to NJCC r North Jersey Corvette Club and mailed to the following: George Faso, c/o NJCC, P.O. Box 648, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. If you are paying for both your dues and the holiday party you can send one check and just indicate at the bottom that it’s for dues and holiday party.

We had a prospective member attend our meeting tonight – his name is Bryan Jumcosa and he is a friend of Keith & Lorrel Boughton. He is the owner of three Corvettes – a ’98 Convertible, ’06 Coupe and a ’14 Coupe.

George showed those present a possible post card and business card that members could hand out if they attend car shows.

Since we are looking for different things to do Jack brought up Hatchet Throwing. There is a place in Fairfield and also Paramus. The cost is $20 per hour and he will have more information for our February meeting. You are encouraged to submit some ideas for either fun runs, social dinners, social breakfasts or something that is fun to do. We’ve had bowling parties and if this is something that you would like to do again, let us know. There’s a lot of fun things to do in this state and we’d really like to take advantage of all that New Jersey has to offer. We are looking at February for our first social dinner of 2020.

Kathy reported that Fran is progressing after her back surgery, she is due for another surgery in January and I know that she would love to hear from our members so if you would like to drop her a card or note, her address is: 94 Lopez Road, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009.

The 50/50 of $28.00 was won by Jack Budesa and Anthony Vitale.

Our next business meeting will be on Wednesday, February 12th at Franco’s Pizzeria on Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell (it’s in the Essex Mall directly across from Ott Miller Chevrolet).

Respectfully submitted,
Linda Siegfried
