Other Business

Anthony mentioned the Totowa Car Show happening on Sunday, April 13th, he mentioned that both he and Dave DeFeo usually attend this show and if anyone is interested in attending to please reach out to either of them so that they can save you a spot.

Our last social dinner was held on February 28th at Spazani’s Catering in Butler.  We know that all who attended had a wonderful time, the food and the company were wonderful.

We have our next dinner social on Saturday, March 22nd at Goodfellas Restaurant in Garfield.  Linda sent out an email with all of our upcoming events and has requested that if you are planning on attending any of them, to please let her know so that we can give those that are arranging them an accurate head count.

Anthony is hoping to have another dinner at Vitalie’s in Parsippany in mid-June, once he has a final date, we will let everyone know.

Lee Marino wanted to thank everyone for their generous donations for River Budesa – she collected $520.00 for the basket (that was won by Ronnie Sokerka at our Holiday Party) and $900.00 in cupcake sales.  Jack and Penny couldn’t say enough for all of Lee’s efforts for their grandson.  Jack also mentioned that if any member has a charity or knows of someone that they personally know who could use a little help to please bring it up to the club at one of our meetings.

Carl Padula mentioned the Blue Knights (which he is a member of) are having a beefsteak fundraiser in Bloomingdale and he is going to see if he can add Grin2B to the list of charities that they donate to.  He is also going to let us know if he can’t get it on this year’s list, he will try for next year and let us know so that those who want to attend to help can attend.  It’s $60 per person for the beefsteak but says it’s well worth it.  He will get us more information when he knows.

Kenny also mentioned that they are now having Corvettes and Coffee on Sundays at Calandra’s Village on Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell.  It starts at 8:30 and runs until around 11:30 and it’s just a place to hang out, have a cup of coffee and talk cars.  All are welcome.

The 50/50 of $62.00 was won by Phil Riso.

Our next business meeting will be on Wednesday, April 9th at Franco’s Pizzeria on Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell (it’s in the Essex Mall directly across from Miller Chevrolet) at 7:00PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Linda Siegfried
